In a bid to improve the level of education in the area, the Adansi South District Assembly has completed major projects for two (2) senior high schools in the district.

They include the New Edubiase Senior High School and Akrofrom Senior High School benefiting from three separate 2-storey dormitory blocks and 12-unit two-storey classroom blocks respectively.
However New Edubiase Senior High School again benefited from a 12 unit classroom block.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive, Benjamin Anhwere, noted that the facilities are meant to reduce pressure on existing facilities due to high enrolment in the said schools.

He said for this reason when he assumed office some years ago, he solicited for support from the government to undertake the said projects adding that the projects took off smoothly with most of them currently completed leaving the dormitory blocks of the New Edubiase School which is currently at roofing level.

“The better Ghana Agenda is steadily progressing in all sectors in the district,” he gladly announced.
