The Right Reverend Dr Yaw Frimpong-Manso,Moderator of the General Assembly of Presbyterian Church of Ghana, has reminded Christians, especially the clergy to use the Gospel of Christ to change society.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Frimpong-Manso said this in a sermon he delivered at a special Church service to elevate the Breman Asikuma Sub-District of the Central Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church to a full district status.

The occasion, which was under the theme: "Let us rise up and build" was attended by members of the church from the district, Regional and National headquarters of the Church.

The Breman Asikuma branch of the church, established in 1933 with 7 members, now has a numerical strength of 914.

Dr Frimpong-Manso said the elevation of Breman Asikuma Sub-District to full district, was as result of the growth in membership and the contribution the Church had been rendering to the
Church.

He later inducted the executives of the new district headed by Rev. Ernest Amoh-Aboagye of the Breman Asikuma Branch of the Church as the President into office and urged them to work hard to win more souls for Christ.

Mrs Georgina Nkrumah Aboah, District Chief Executive for the area
congratulated the new executives and urged them to work tirelessly towards the growth of the church.

Nana Amoakwa Buadu VIII, Omanhene of Breman Asikuma Traditional Area, advised the Church to spread the Gospel to reach those who have never heard of the Good  news of Christ.
