Kintampo North MCE supports College of Health with PPEs
AS part of his contribution to supplement the central government in fighting the pandemic, Mr. Michael Sarkodie Baffoetoday, Kintampo North Municipal Chief Executive presented to the leadership of college of heath 500 pieces of nose masks and 240 pieces of alcohol-based hand sanitizers.

In his presentation, he ironically stated, β€˜β€™the great pandemic has come like a paroxysm to human society. The world one year before was the place where many could hug, shake hands, whisper to ears, all as ways of exchanging pleasantries. But the world today is the place where many cannot even recognize one another in a piece of cloth covering the face to prevent infections.’’

It is necessary we look at the virus as an all Ghanaian matter as said by the president. All stakeholders-political, religious, traditional, and civil society leaders have to come together with the already support from the Government to combat this crisis.

He also seized the opportunity to advise students to strictly abide by all protocol measures put in place by the Government as they resume for academic work and use the knowledge acquired as health professionals to sensitize the general public on this pandemic.

Receiving the items on behalf of the college is Dr. Kwabena Opoku- Adusei, who expressed their appreciation to the MCE for his kind gesture.

He added, the items received will supplement what was received from the central Government. He assured the items will be put into good use to serve the purpose of which it was brought.
