Ghana 2021 Population and Housing Census (Bono East Region)
The Bono East region of Ghana is a new region carved out of the Brong Ahafo region. The capital of the new region is Techiman. The Region borders on the north of the Savannah Region, the west of the Bono Region, the south of the Ashanti region, and the east of Volta Lake.

The Region has a population of 1,203,400 in 2021 of Ghana's total population. With a total male population standing at 603,136 and a total female population of 600,264. The Region has a total Household of 288,725 which refers to a person or a group of two or more persons (related or unrelated) who live together, share housekeeping arrangements (eating and sleeping), and recognize one person as the head.
