SENE E: Minister commissions modern assembly block for Kadjeji
The Brong Ahafo Regional Minister Mr. Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh has commissioned a state-of-the-art complex administration block at Kajaji for the Sene East District Assembly.

The ultramodern office has twenty one (21) offices and other facilities for the staff.  Mr. Godfred Deku the District Assembly engineer said the new Administration Block can accommodate all the unit heads and 90% of the heads of department. The engineer said the building cost GHS163,000.00.

The Regional Minister in his speech thanked the Chiefs for given the land for the Assembly block to be put up without engaging in any litigation.The Minister also commended the presiding member of the Sene East District Assembly and all the Assembly members for their fruitful deliberation by ensuring that the Assembly block was completed as schedule. He urged them to put the new administration block into good use and endue proper maintenance culture.

The Minister also thanked the Chiefs and the Assembly members for the confirmation of the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sene East Mr. Abraham Mbanye.

Touching on government policies the minister said plans were far advance for the construction and tarring of Atebubu to Kwame Danso and from Kwame Danso to Kajaji roads. 

He noted that government has started fulfilling some of the election promises.  He said government has re-introduced the Nurses and Teachers allowances.  On the Nurses Allowances, he said 58,000 students were benefit from the policy.  He added that government was also spending GHS236 million on the nurses’ allowances annually.

The Minister appealed to the Chiefs to make land for the implementation of Government policies such as One District One Dam, One District One Factory as well as One District One Warehouse and Planting for Food and Jobs. The Minister added that government was ready to pay for all the bills of the National Health Insurances Scheme (NHIS) and to repackage it well.

He asked the people to continue to support government in its development agenda.  He appealed to the Chief to channel their grievances to their District Chief Executive for dialogue and action and forward those that were beyond them to the Region.

The District Chief Executive for Sene East Mr. Abraham Mbanye in brief remarks said the people in the area were also benefiting from the free Senior High School policy and the Assembly has donate 150 beds to the Senior High School in the area. 

He added that text books have been brought to the Senior High School and the School has received the 20 percent of the feeding grant as promised by the government.  He said there was also rural electrification ongoing in the communities to provide the people with electricity.

Mr. Abraham Mbanye thank the security, the chiefs and the Assembly members for ensuring that there was peace and tranquility in the area.

Nana Kronko Osore Sunkwa, Kyidomhene of Sene East thanked government for the social interventions such as the free Senior High School re-introduction of Nurses and teachers that has relief parents.
