SEKYERE S: Wiamoase police station commissioned

It is no secret that Dr. Osei Kwame Despite, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Despite Group of Companies, is one of Africa's most successful businessmen.

The CEO, as part of efforts to help maintain law and order has fulfilled his promise by putting up a State-Of-The-Art building to serve as police station at Wiamoase, a community in the Sekyere South district of the Ashanti region.

The ultra modern facility was commissioned at a colourful but short ceremony on Friday to hand over the facility Ghana Police Service for use.

Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, District Chief Executive (DCE) of the area, Catherine Reckling expressed her profound gratitude to the CEO for the project and selfless efforts to help fight crime in the district.

She seized the opportunity to call on others to philanthropists to emulate Mr Osei Kwame to help accelerate development in the area.

She further advised the youth to put up good behavior to save them from brought to the new facility.

Meanwhile, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite has been enstooled the Nkosuohene of Wiamoase. The CEO of Despite Group of Companies is called Nana Dr. Baffuor Osei Kwame Despite.
