ASOKORE: MCE tours Electoral Areas

The Municipal Chief Executive of Asokore Mampong, Alidu Seidu has visited the ten electoral areas in his municipality to discuss issues of development with them and also appraise himself of their challenges for necessary action.

The MCE who was accompanied by some heads of departments interacted with the people and brought to light some of the development projects his administration has embarked on in the various areas.

Among them in the renovation of classroom blocks, digging of boreholes, and the construction of community-based health planning services (CHPs) compound among others.

The electoral areas under his jurisdiction are Sepe Tinpom, Sawaba, Adukrom, Akwatia-line, New Zongo, Asawase, Aboabo no 1, Aboabo no2, Akurem and Asokore Mampong.

Mr. Seidu said that the projects he is embarking on is to help develop the municipality and also curb unemployment, adding that his doors are always open to them.

The people also took the opportunity to tell the MCE their needs, which he promised to cater for in due course and also encouraged them to believe in him and the government by helping them build and develop the municipality and Ghana as a whole.
