The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Offinso, Mr Solomon Kesseh, has today Tuesday 23rd October 2018, cut sod to commence the construction of a 4-gated modern fence wall around the Offinso Health Center Popularly known as ‘Aboagye clinic’ at Dentin.
Speaking at the sod cutting ceremony, Mr Kesseh highlighted on the need for the project, saying that it is expected to provide top security for the hospital and also halt encroachment on the hospital’s land.
He disclosed that the Assembly was eager not to allow residents of the area encroach on land meant for the hospital.
“This has been one of my heart desire projects ever since I was sworn in as the MCE of the area”, he stated.
The MCE urged the contractors to work assiduously in order to finish the project on time but should also endeavour to ensure value for money.
The short ground breaking ceremony was graced by Nana Kwaku Duah, Nifahene of Offinso (chief of Dentin) and the Nkosuohene of Offinso and some Departmental Heads of the Assembly.
