Tain DCE donates maths set to BECE candidates
Lawyer Clarity Akua Oforiwaa Dwommoh, Tain District Chief Executive in the Brong Ahafo region as part of measures to ensuring improvement of education in the district has distributed 1,412 mathematical sets to 1,412 Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates made up of 741 males and 671 females from 55 basic schools in the district.

An exercise which the District Chief Executive is committed to be doing every year as she remains in office started last year, her first year in office.

The DCE advised the students to desist from examination malpractices and avoid taking of tramadol and to concentrate on their studies since they can make it with determination and hard work.

She stated that the District Assembly in collaboration with the District Education Directorate had earlier organized several training programmes for the candidates to train them on how to answer questions and also preparing them for their final exams.

Lawyer Charity Akua OForiwaa Dwommoh said she is confidence that this year's results would improve from last year's 60% to about 90%.

The District Director of Education Madam Effua Amuah urged the students to do away with any fears and prepare for their final examinations and they will support them with prayers.

Ayamga Clementina of Assemblies of God International School Nsawkaw, thanked the Chief Executive for her support and encouragement which they were grateful. She however assured the DCE that they would do their best to improve on last year's performance of the district and that they will not disappoint her.
